Drove back today. Excellent idea from gil_liant there - the traffic was very light and the drive was mostly smooth sailing. [mixed metaphor there ^_^]

Except. ... I seem to have picked up a chest cold the last few days 'down south'. Persistent cough since night before last. The coughing is remarkably tiring. So it's lots of hot tea and warm blankies for me now.

Agreed...today was a great day to travel. Tomorrow won't be quite as good, and Sunday, of course, will be absolute hell.
