Recommendation - get the chicken pox vaccine for Kara - and the shingles vaccine for you 2 ASAP.
You know, by the strangest coincidence there was a large (full-page-ish) ad in the newspaper yesterday for the Shingles vaccine. The ad made it sound like it was only for people over 60. (Which is odd, because there's nothing that says you have to be over 60 to get shingles.) If they'll give it to me I'm certainly inclined to take it. :^b
Since this happened, I learned my aunt had a very bad case of shingles when she was in her 20's - going to college. So it can definitely hit when young.
