Dragon Age affection

melcharIn 'Dragon Age' you can either start with - or do a mini-quest - and have a dog. The dog loves you unconditionally. The other party NPCs take work. ^_^ At this point for my boy elf rogue I have *everyone* affectionate towards him 3 stat bonus boxes worth - with Sten almost at the dog's level of affection - Morrigan & Zevran close behind [those 3 are all *4* stat bonus boxes in affection]. -Whew-
Amusingly, I was less concerned with Sten's affection level for my male elf - and more concerned for it with my female noble [both rogues BTW]. As such I took the more 'take no guff' line with Sten ... and he LIKES that. I've given him 1 gift and his sword ... oh - and gave him a cookie. Sten likes cookies. ^_^ I've given the others more gifts - especially when one of them is doing the 'like only me' dialogues - to repair the affection dip making a choice leads to.
