the weekend in review
Jun. 16th, 2014 07:48 pmThe weekend was quite pleasant, overall. Most of it was too hot. Blarg. Got to play in the Friday Pathfinder game and made progress. Our characters survived, did a treasure split and we're about 10K away from level 9. Win.
Saturday was a 'no-tabletop-game' day - and also way too hot. We went to see 'Edge of Tomorrow' and then out to the Outback with gaming chums and had a good time. 'Edge of Tomorrow' was much better than I expected and had the delightful feature of getting to watch Tom Cruise get killed again and again and again. ^_^ It's one of the movies he's been in that I -really- liked his acting job. Recommended. [Another rec'd Tom Cruise movie IMO is 'Collateral'.]
Sunday was another 'no-tabletop-game' day and was very pleasant and laid back. Temperature down to tolerable. Most of the day - and bits and pieces of the other 2 days as well - were filled with SWTOR in which I had a ton of fun.
