Various observations

melcharI wish to register a complaint! To whit = it's freaking hot. It went straight from winter to summer and it's 91 degrees out there right now.
On a positive side, I finally saw 'The Chronicles of Riddick' [on DVD] and it was better than I was led to believe. You are SO right, Tiffy! It IS 'MacBeth' with cute guys! It's a bit overly-ambitious, a lot more fantasy than sf and [again] there are mammoth plot holes, but it was fun to watch.
Now, must make effort not to melt - and hope the Giants don't blow their 8th inning lead ^_^

Date: 2006-05-15 06:48 pm (UTC)I liked it a lot. It was no Pitch Black, and I saw the ending coming from a mile away (***SPOILER ALERT*** They gave him an army!!!) it was fun and pretty and that was all I wanted out of it.
