Just ... why?

OK - so why is it that Republicans in political office can bankrupt the nation, destroy civil rights & threaten the Constitution - all without causing much interest from the general public - but that when Democrats in office fool around THEY stir up a national fervor?

... while they cheated on wife #2 with the one they're married to now. Till death do they part? Only when murder is involved.

But that's pretty much what I'm talking about. Ruin the country? People yawn. Have consensual sex? The public flips out!
